Where was that War on Terror again?
Afghanistan.
No it’s in Iraq stupid. They caught Bin Laden in Afghanistan, it’s over there.
No they didn’t, they’re still looking for him.
Really, I didn’t know. I haven’t read anything on Afghanistan for so long that’s why. So why are they in Iraq?
Because Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, I think. Or they did or something like that.
If I could rename the War on Terror it would be the “War on Truth.” If this war were to have a motto it would be, “Sorry, that information is classified.” From the beginning of this war on September 11, 2001, the U.S.A has been embarking on a clandestine mission that is to reaffirm them as the hegemonic power of the world. We hear presidential speeches, reports by renowned journalists, pictures, video clips, and analysis by top scholars, just to mention a few. From all this intake of information, we generate an output, or an opinion. That output is what I call bullshit. Why? Because the input is bullshit to begin with. It’s all bullshit. How could people comment on the war and justify it if it is all based on fictitious information? Sure there are journalists in Iraq, but how many layers of filtration does this information go through before it reaches our ears and eyes? What we are left with is about 10% truth, and 90% perversion of the truth. It is not being argued that nothing is known; the American agenda is not rocket science, its common sense. The country runs on oil; oil is in the Middle-East. The country’s most prominent threat is terror; terror is in the Middle-East. Security and Economics, it’s that simple. What is not simple is how this war is being fought, and what is underneath these general understandings. What the U.S.A agenda and policy is to accomplish their mission is unknown. So can we comment on the events of the Middle-East? My answer is no. The only thing we can comment on is the raw facts of this war, such as casualties, and even those are uncertain. One thing is for sure, this war has no name, let alone a face. Neither the enemy nor the ally has yet to receive the respect it deserves to have sacrificed their life. They will continue to die, tens and hundreds of thousands by the time this war is over, without ever being recognized other then by a number. But lets not lose hope, eventually their name will appear on a plaque next to thousands of other names, this of course when the U.S is in the midst of a new war.
